The 20th of May EyeNet Sweden arranged a seminar, "How to create patient questionnaires with a valid measurement scale?". Lectures were given by Konrad Pesudovs, PhD, Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia, Fil lic. Pontus Roos from R.R. Institute of Applied Economics, Malmö, and dr Göran Garellick, SALAR. The english-spoken seminar was recorded and dvd videos are available at EyeNet Sweden.

Education for associated quality registers to EyeNet Sweden. The days’ context included report from registries, validation, direct transfer of data, questionnaires etc.

Education for registry managers, January 26-27

Registry managers-to be for the European quality registry EUREQUO had a 2 days long education session at EyeNet Sweden. Every participating country will have its own registry manager, responsible for the development in the country. The education dealt with the philosophy behind measuring as well as the purpose of measuring and collecting data. It also gave examples of how to use output data. Legal aspects, IT-matters and the importance of having good examples and arguments in the marketing were also discussed.
